Christmas Again!

On Friday we went to Grammy and Papa's house to do presents with Kate! We had a really nice dinner and so much fun hanging out with everyone! Thanks so much for all of Tanner's presents!

Happy 5 Month Birthday!

Tanner's 5 Month birthday fell on Christmas! Here are the photos of him with his dump truck! Right now he really likes to look at his hands, he thinks they are pretty cool! And in the photos this month he was more interested in playing with the dump truck rather than laying next to it! And of course I had to get a shot of him in his new hard hat!

More Christmas

After we opened our gifts at home we headed to Grandma and Grandpa's house to open gifts with Aiden and to have brunch. By this time Tanner was pretty ready for a nap but he was a trooper! We had a fun time with the boys and had fun watching Aiden be disinterested in his presents! So basically Heather and I opened them all for the boys! Oh well, maybe next year! Oh and Tanner loved to eat the paper! yum yum!!!

Christmas Morning!

Travis and I had Christmas morning before Tanner woke up, since we had to wake him up at 10 to unwrap persents! I am sure this will be one of the very few Christmas' where we have to wake him up! But we had a lot of fun with him opening his presents! Although he really wasn't sure what it was all about!

Christmas Eve

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve with all of Travis' family along with my parents! It was great to have everyone over at our house again this year!! Tanner had fun hanging out with all of the family!!

Visit from Santa

Last night Santa came to visit Tanner and his cousins! They were all very excited and surprised to see Santa! Since they were all such good boys and girls this year he gave them two presents too! We had so much fun with everyone! Tanner even got the hang of tearing paper to open his presents!

Today we took Aiden and Tanner to sit on Santa's lap. I decided that even though Tanner is way too young to know what is going on that I needed a photo of him on Santa's lap. Needless to say we didn't get any photos of Aiden because he immediately began to scream. Tanner did pretty good though and we actually got a decent photo.

Bath Time with Kate

We all went to Grammy and Papa's house for a nice family dinner tonight. Tanner and Kate took a bath together in the sink so of course we had to get a photo! I think that Kate is a little tanner then Tanner...haha!

A Day with Cousins

Tanner and I had a busy day today hanging out with both of his cousins. First we went to the mall with Grandma and Aiden and watched Aiden ride the carrousel. Tanner was very sleepy but had fun watching Aiden.

Then we went to see Kate's very first dance recital. Here is a photo of her afterwards with her flower and candy she got from her mommy! She was definitely the best dancer out there! She has some moves!!!

After that we went to Grammy and Papa's house for dinner and here is Tanner passed out from a long day!

Christmas Jammies

Grandma bought both Tanner and Aiden matching Christmas jammies and we tried really hard to get a photo of both of them smiling! This one made me laugh though...it looks like Tanner is looking at Aiden saying, "Seriously, do they make us do this every year?"

Cookie Party

Tanner attended his very first Cookie Party! I had such a fun time hanging out with Kate decorating cookies and watching her play in the snow and Travis played with Tanner and hung out. We had such a good time seeing everyone and can't wait for next year! Thanks Gramma Carol for such a fun time!

Happy Thanksgiving

We had a very nice Thanksgiving with both families! Tanner is very lucky to have both sides of the family to spend the holidays with!

Happy 4 Month Birthday!!

Our little guy is already four months old...that is hard to believe! He loves to smile at anyone that will pay attention to him and is starting to laugh a little more. We went to the doctor and he weighs 15lb 11oz and is 25 3/4 inches long. He is in the 75th percentile for weight and 80th percentile for height! He is wearing 9month clothes already so he is quite the big boy!

Spending Time with GiGi and Poppy

On Friday Tanner and I spent the day with GiGi and Poppy and had lunch. We had such a good time with them. Tanner is so blessed to have great grandparents to spend time with, especially ones that love him so much!

Whenever my mom watches Aiden, Tanner and I try to go over there for a visit. Of course Grandma wants to hold Tanner and Aiden wants up too! So here she is holding her two little boys!

Storytime

Yesterday we went to storytime at the library. I do actuallly think that Tanner had some fun...although he mostly observed all of the other kids. Afterwards we went to the mall and both Mason and Tanner passed out while the mommies shopped!

A Day Full of Firsts

Today was a day full of a few firsts so of course I captured them and thought that I would share!

I have spent the past three and a half months of trying to convince Tanner that he didn't want to be a thumb sucker....I think that I have failed! In the middle of the night I have been hearing this sucking noise and now I am sure I know what it is!

I also have been trying without previous success to get him to take a nap in his crib....today was sucessfull!!!! YEAH!!!


And finally I dressed Tanner up in some big boy shoes today! They are a little big so if he were to kick too hard they may fly off....nonetheless I think that he looks adorable in them! Oh and of course, there is that thumb sucking again!
